The Village Library

Our library has indeed grown since its beginnings in the old butcher shop on Mill Road. The Village Library, now located on Walnut Street, is both computerized and fully automated allowing all of us to have full access to the State Library System. The currect collection of approximately 11,000 items continues to expand thanks to the generous support of patrons, like you, and local businesses and organizations. Our card membership has grown to include over 3,000 members.

A non-profit volunteer citizens group, The Friends of the Village Library, greatly supports the library by providing awards for summer reading programs, readathons, and by encouraging community awareness and involvement in the library. You are invited to join this ever growing group!
